What is Collective Artists?
Collective Artist is DVDance’s initative to creating more art in the Silicon Valley. The concept is simply, create more opportunities for art and artists to grow. We do this by absorbing the overhead cost of publicity, administration and theater rental, making this a completely free event.
What is the goal of Collective Artists?
DVDance and its committee celebrates the unique diversity, innovative imagination and excellence of local artists by fostering supportive environments for artists to growth.
We do this by:
honoring artists and the contributions of those who support their work
acknowledge and promote the role of artists in enriching our community
promote the highest levels of artistic achievement
provide a historical and cultural context for dance
encourage the development of informed audiences
